Why are their multiple $50 tiers? Why are there two $65 tiers? Why are there so many retired tiers? What's the difference between all of them?
This is my bad- the rewards got a bit out of control because they weren’t set up right and the campaign took off so quickly. I’ve had to change the tiers a few times to reflect the stretch goals you’ve all unlocked and the new delivery estimates. Don’t worry, though, if you backed an early tier that’s been changed or retired, you’ll still get everything that the new tiers get at the same pledge amount, plus earlier delivery! I want to reward the backers who’ve been with us since the beginning, while making sure that everyone gets access to our newest rewards. :)

Do the $100 tiers get all the bonuses too?
Yes! Everything that’s been added to the base game will be automatically added for early pledgers, so you don’t have to worry :) Exception are the Apocalypse, Rainbow Sprinkles, and Dragons Expansion Packs, which are available as add-ons.

I'm excited about the expansion packs, but they're not part of the rewards for my tier! How do I get them?
You can order expansion packs the same way you order other add-ons, by increasing your pledge amount by the cost of the add-on (plus $5 shipping, if not in the US) and selecting them in the BackerKit survey that we’ll be sending out two weeks after the campaign has ended :) There will also be options to add money directly in BackerKit to upgrade your reward tier or order more add-ons.

How will add-ons work? Where do I go to order them?
We’re handling add-ons through BackerKit, so it’s easy- just increase your pledge amount by the total cost of the add-ons you want, plus $5 shipping if you’re not in the US, and you’ll be able to select them in a BackerKit survey that we’ll send out two weeks after the campaign is ended! :) Also if you change your mind later, we’ll have a separate ordering system in place that’s not tied to your pledge amount.

Is the NSFW Expansion Pack or the KSE set included in the November $35 tier?
I’ve included the NSFW Expansion Pack and the KSE set in the rewards for all tiers from $35 up, so you won’t need to change our raise your pledge amount if you’re already backing at that amount. The November $35 tier is the one exception- the NSFW Expansion Pack and the KSE set are NOT included with that (because you’re getting 2 copies of the game instead!)

Is there room in the Unstable Unicorns box for all the extra cards and expansions?
The box holds roughly 225 cards and will be big enough to hold the base game and all the expansions except the NSFW Expansion Pack, which gets its own box, but I can’t guarantee that it’ll fit all those cards sleeved. We’re working on a bigger box to work with sleeved cards- watch for it closer to summer!

What's the deal with different shipping rates for different tiers? They don't seem to be consistent.
Since we launched the campaign, the price for shipping out the game has gone up, thanks to all that’s been added to it, butI’m committed to giving our early backers the shipping cost as originally listed for their tier, and it’s my goal to keep shipping rates reasonable for all backers. :)

If you’ve backed our campaign at a tier that estimates a November or December delivery, I’m still committed to meeting those estimates! New tiers have the estimate of a February delivery, to make sure that we can meet all our commitments to you and no one’s left hanging.

What do the Kickstarter Exclusive bonus cards do? Are they super powerful?
The bonus cards are powerful, but not overpowered. They’re intended more to make the game interesting, rather than unbalance it outright!

Do I need multiple copies for 6-8 players?
Only one copy of the game is needed to end 8 friendships at once. That’s really efficient!
When playing with 6+ though, it is frequent that players will run out of cards in the deck. The rules say to shuffle the discard pile into the deck and continue playing, but using the cards from two different copies of the game is also a solution.

Does the Kickstarter Exclusive Pack include the cards that have been unlocked with stretch goals?
Yes, the KSE pack includes all five unlocked exclusive cards :) You’ll receive the rewards for all stretch goals that apply to your tier and add-ons, no matter when you backed the campaign.

I want to get one of the new expansions, but I also want to keep my pledge at a retired with an earlier delivery estimate. What do I do?
Expansions packs and the KSE set are all available as add-ons, so you can get them that way, without having to change tiers :) We offer split shipping for November and December tiers with February add-ons like the Dragons and Rainbow Sprinkles expansions.

What's up with the GenCon tier?
We had a special bundle planned for GenCon attendees. It contained two black boxes, two NSFW Expansion Packs, two sets of the Kickstarter-exclusive cards, and a play mat. Don’t worry if you missed it! All these rewards are available for other tiers through add-ons.

What size are the cards and play mat? What is the play mat made of?
The cards are standard poker-size cards, and the play mat is 54cm x 22cm. The play mat is made of rubber, like a mouse pad.

How many players was this game designed for?
We originally designed the game for 4-6 players, but we play tested and tweaked it until it was perfect for 3-8 as well! We also have a 2-player variant that we’re planning to make available on the Unstable Unicorns website as soon as possible, and we’ll have an announcement about a 1-player variant soon!

Why am I being asked to pay more?
If you’d only like to receive the items you originally pledged for on Kickstarter, you should be able to finish the survey without any further payment. If you’re being asked to pay more, it’s more than likely that an add-on was selected in your survey by mistake.
All the items you’ve pledged for on Kickstarter are already in your order by default, so you only need to select add-ons if you’d like to receive items in addition to what you’ve already contributed to receive.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
