Hey everyone! First of all, holy s***, we hit $200k today!
So...it's time to revisit stretch goals. All cards have now been upgraded to a linen finish, and I added a few more things in there (including revisiting the Apocalypse Pack- read below for more info on that).
When I started this project, I had plans to do a destructive apocalypse pack expansion, but there seemed to be significantly more interest in an NSFW expansion instead. But then when I went that direction, others expressed that they wanted the Apocalypse Pack to come back.
The apocalypse pack is pretty simple, but it really changes the dynamic of the game. This pack will feature 5 different types of apocalypse scenario cards (which allow you to sacrifice your own unicorns, destroy other people's unicorns, and then summon a specific unicorn from the deck depending on the apocalypse scenario). In addition, it will also include three zombie unicorns, three kittencorns, three llamacorns, three unicorn phoenixes, and three unicorns of death. Each of the apocalypse scenario cards will summon one of these unicorn cards into play. The apocalypse cards will be powerful as early-game plays, or as late-game desperate moves to try to slow down a near-winner. They do come at a high price, though, because they force you to sacrifice all of your unicorns!
Since the direction of the KS has changed a bit since it started, I've decided to make the Apocalypse Pack an add-on. It will be available for $5 if you want to include it with your game. I will have more stretch goals that get posted in the coming week (most of which will be automatic upgrades and not just add-ons) as I get more information.
As a reminder, anyone who pledged in a former $50 tier will get all of the new upgrades but still ship in November. I apologize for the messy reward levels- I'm still learning as I go!

F*** It- NSFW Expansion is happening

A lot has happened in the past 24 hours, and I'm very excited to post this update!
First of all, a new NSFW expansion pack of 10 cards has now been added as an option! It will be available as an add-on, and it has automatically been added to all backer levels of $50+ (and there will be an NSFW expansion pack for each box at your pledge level, not just one).
I know a lot of you have been wanting to get access to the Kickstarter Exclusive cards without getting two boxes- A new level has been added to get both Kickstarter Exclusive cards, the NSFW pack, and one box of the game (in case you want the KSE cards but not two games). Those two cards will also be made available as an add-on if you only want the white box as well :)
In addition, a new $50 level has been opened (which includes two boxes, two expansion packs, and two sets of the exclusive cards). No need to move to the new level, if you pledged at the $50 level before, you will still get all the upgraded perks! The only difference is that this one will ship a month later, so you're better off staying at your original pledge level rather than switching over.
Also, Narwhals will now be in ALL boxes, not just the black boxes :)

Two stretch goals in one day! Thanks so much everyone!!
In addition to the 4 revenge downgrade cards that we promised, we'll be adding 4 new unicorns and 2 upgrade cards to keep the game balanced. These 10 new cards will be added to every box! Once all the cards are fully designed and finalized, we’ll post them in another update.
We are working on a gameplay video that we are planning to post on Monday so you can get a taste of a full game if you’re interested! The video will show closeups of cards from the game so you can see them in action.
We are staying focused on keeping this timeline tight to ensure we can ship all of the games in November as promised. Things are getting crazy, but we are still on track to make it as planned!
So many people are asking for a full NSFW expansion pack...so tempting...

Hi everyone,
We’re incredibly shocked and humbled by the support for Unstable Unicorns! We were 100% funded in just over an hour, and we can’t thank you enough! That’s why we’re giving you PRESENTS!
We surpassed our first stretch goal before we were even able to post it, so every Black Box Edition will now come with 6 additional Narwhal cards!
We also unlocked 2 new stretch goals!
If we reach $100,000, we’re going to produce a Revenge Pack of 4 new downgrade cards. You’ll be able to betray your friends with even more vengeance!
If we reach $250,000, we’re going to produce a Unicorn Apocalypse Expansion Pack!
We heard your feedback about the $50 level, so everyone who pledged $50 or more will now get both Kickstarter Exclusive bonus cards, the Standard edition of the game, and the Black Box edition of the game (which now includes 6 additional Narwhal cards)!
In addition to that updated reward, we added 3 brand new rewards!
A $65 pledge will now get you 2 squishy Narwhal plushies selected by us, 2 Black Box edition games, and 2 sets of the additional Narwhal cards!
A $140 pledge will get you 10 Standard edition games and 2 Kickstarter Exclusive cards.
A $175 pledge will get you 10 Black Box edition games along with 10 sets of the additional Narwhal cards and 2 Kickstarter Exclusive cards.

What is the difference between the Black Box edition and the Standard edition?
The Black Box edition comes in a sleek black box and now includes 6 additional Narwhal cards!

Do you get the pair of Kickstarter Exclusive cards for each box, or do you just get one of each?
You get one pair of Kickstarter Exclusive cards if you pledge $50 or more, not one pair per box.

Are the Kickstarter Exclusive cards super-powerful?
They’re powerful, but not overpowered! If you include them in your game, they won’t skew it in anyone’s favor.

Yep! The game is perfect for 3-8 players.
